Well, the documentation on MSDN says you need the SDK to use this API, but the SDK documentation says I need a separate library to use it on XP. I downloaded that, but I don't know how to reference it. I can't find if there's a regsvr32 switch that will let me register a .lib file, or if I need to compile it or what.
The main reason I need this API is because we use paths that break the 260 character barrier on a daily basis, and I need the Unicode support for 32,000+ character paths. |

Are you doing this in .NET or still on VB6?

Actually, VBA, which may as well be VB6. It's being written on the backend of Access2003. |
