Unfortunately, no.

.NET applications require the .NET framework to be present (just like VB6 applications require the VB RunTime to be present, etc, etc.).

There are ideas on how one might package the framework with the application, but I believe this is prohibited by MS and I've never seen it done successfully.


Is there a reason why you need to run it without the framework? You can update your PC to include the framework by simply going to windows update and selecting it from the "Recommended" updates.

Thanks for the quick response. I've downloaded the DotNET Redistributable (because the box I'm working on does not connect to the outside world - Tools Network). I'll try it out...
