|
| Code: |
ErrTrace.log
[30.01.2006 14:50:06] - 'TYPE': command not understood.
at a8.b(z A_0, String A_1)

Hi there. Thanks for posting.
It's probably an issue specific to your server. Is there any way that you can give me a test user for your FTP server so I can try to connect to it and find out what's wrong? Please let me know.

I'm using Guild FTP server.
Unforunately i cannot create you a user on this machine specifically.
You can find it on the official website : http://www.guildftpd.com/index.php
Thanks for you answers Watyf |

It's appear that the TYPE is requested before any login / user/password is send to the server.
Also test with Filezilla and the same problem occur.
No way for me in this case... |

I haven't gotten a chance to mess with this yet, but I still plan to. If the TYPE command is an issue for certain FTP servers, then I can most likely write a way around it.

This issue was more than likely resolved by the fixes I made from another thread. You may find the problem has gone away. Let me know if not.
